Emergency landing at Bhopal on flight from Kolkata to Surat, 172 passengers on board

An Indigo flight from Kolkata to Surat was forced to make an emergency landing at Bhopal airport.

According to the details received, the plane was diverted to Bhopal airport due to a technical fault. It was learned that the pilot noticed smoke coming out of the plane and then landed at Bhopal airport. The plane had 172 passengers on board. Alternative arrangements were made to transport the passengers to Surat.

The pilot felt that there was a defect in the aircraft so he talked to Bhopal Air Traffic Control as it was close to Bhopal airport. The aircraft was allowed to land immediately. The pilot also landed safely on the runway. Took.
