Reports were circulating that Dawood Ibrahim, an international criminal and nicknamed Don, had sent his family out of Pakistan.

After the Financial Action Task Force (FATFA) besieged Pakistan on the issue of financing terrorism and creating conditions to blacklist it, Pakistan took stern action against the notorious terrorists and masterminds of the Mumbai attacks, Masood Azhar and Zakiur Rahman.

Dawood was horrified after the action was taken against Masood and reports were circulating that he had sent his family out of Pakistan as a precaution. Dawood's son and two younger brothers had moved out of Pakistan. Even so, one of Dawood's younger brothers, Mustakim Ali Kaskar, has already settled in Dubai and runs D Company's legal business in the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Qatar. Mustakim has a garment factory in the United Arab Emirates. He also cares for David's other relatives. All those who were recently sent to Dubai from Karachi have settled in Dubai under the supervision of Mustakim.

Dawood himself lives in the Defense Housing Area of ​​Karachi. Her brother Anees Ibrahim has also not been seen in Karachi for the past two weeks. Chhota Shakeel, who was considered David's special man and handled most of his affairs, is also not seen in Karachi.

Earlier, a Portuguese passport was arranged for David's eldest daughter Mahrukh. It may be recalled that Mahrukh was married to Junaid, son of former Pakistan cricketer Javed Miandad. Dawood himself was reportedly still in Karachi.

Dawood had sent his family to Dubai before the 1993 serial bomb blasts in Mumbai. Dawood's family settled in Pakistan after India signed an extradition treaty with Dubai. It has been in Pakistan ever since.

His eldest son, Moin Kaskar, who lives in London, frequently visits Pakistan to visit his parents. He married the daughter of a British businessman. One of Dawood's brothers, Nurul Haque, died in Pakistan. Dawood's other brother Sabir was killed in 1981 in Mumbai. His family then surrendered to David and settled in Karachi.
