Covid-19: PM Modi in discussion with Chief Ministers says it is the responsibility of states to control rumors

The whole world is gripping against the corona crisis, the country is preparing for a vaccination campaign against corona virus starting from January 16, Prime Minister Modi discussed with all the Chief Ministers of the country today.

In the meantime, he discussed the status of corona epidemic in various states and got information on the preparations of the states for vaccination. Modi described both the vaccines as effective and cheap.

In this video conference, Modi should not spread any rumors about vaccines and there should be no discussion on if and but, many riotous elements can work to sabotage this campaign, all such efforts are to be thwarted by all the citizens of the country knowingly.

"From January 16, we will launch the world's largest vaccination campaign. About three and a half crore health workers and frontline workers will be vaccinated in the first phase and in the second phase," Modi said. Who is over 50 years of age and has suffered from serious illnesses.

He described the vaccines as cost-effective and said that the situation could have been estimated if the country had depended on other countries for vaccines in such a crisis.

"Our scientists have also taken all necessary precautions to provide safe vaccines," he said, adding that the vaccination campaign would be reviewed again after 60 per cent completion.

Regarding the bird flu situation, PM Modi said that bird flu has been confirmed in nine states and the Ministry of Animal Husbandry has also formulated an action plan in this regard, which needs to be implemented. Stressing that all states should be vigilant, Modi said it was imperative to curb rumors in the crisis.
