Britain invites PM Modi to G-7 summit, Boris Johnson to visit India first

London, Ta. 17. Sunday, January, 2021

British PM Boris Jones has invited Indian PM Narendra Modi to be a guest at this year's G-7 summit in Britain. The summit is scheduled to take place in June this year.

"I will also be touring India before the G-7 summit. India has emerged as the world's pharmacy. India is already meeting 50 per cent of the world's vaccine needs. India and Britain have worked together against corona," Boris Jones said.

Boris Johnson was thus invited as the chief guest at the planned parade on 26 January. However, he canceled his visit to India following a spate of coronavirus cases in Britain.
