Bill Gates became America's largest farmer, buying 2.42 million acres of land

One of the reasons for the agitation by farmers in India against the new agricultural law is that farmers are afraid that our land will be taken over by industries.

In the US, on the other hand, Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft, has bought a large amount of agricultural land. According to media reports, Bill Gates now owns a total of 2.42 lakh acres of land in 18 states of the US.

There are also plans to build a smart city on the land Gates has purchased in the state of Arizona.

Earlier in 2018, Gates bought 16,000 acres of land in his home state of Washington for which he paid Rs 1,251 crore. It is believed that Gates may have bought so much land for investment.
