Afghanistan: 14 terrorists killed in air strike, 18 civilians killed

At least 14 militants have been killed in an airstrike in Afghanistan. Nine of the terrorists killed in the attack are of Pakistani origin. So the remaining 5 terrorists belong to the Taliban organization. The airstrikes, on the other hand, also killed 18 Afghan civilians. Baj Mohammad Masir, president of the Ghazni provincial council, said all those killed belonged to the same family.

The Afghan Defense Ministry has claimed that the terrorists were killed in the air strike. An air strike was carried out in the Nimroz area on Saturday night, killing 14 militants, according to the defense ministry.

Baj Mohammad Masir said the air strike was targeted at Munajari village in Khasharod district. The six civilians killed included eight children and seven women. According to media reports, the families of the victims have reached Jaranj, the capital of Nimroz, demanding justice. The Afghan Air Force has also announced that a number of militants have been killed in air strikes on Taliban strongholds on Saturday night.

A report released by the United Nations a few days ago said that about 6000-6500 Pakistani terrorists are active in Afghanistan. Most of these terrorists are affiliated with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan.
