AAP MLA Somnath Bharti was thrown ink in UP, police arrested him along with supporters

Aam Aadmi Party leader and Delhi MLA Somnath Bharti is currently on a tour of Uttar Pradesh. Then on Monday, ink was thrown at Somnath Bharti in Rae Bareli, UP. The incident took place inside the guest house of the Irrigation Department of Rae Bareli. He has also clashed with police officers in the meantime. He has since been arrested. His supporters have also been detained.

Somnath Bharti, who is on a trip to Uttar Pradesh, made the controversial statement during an activist meeting in Jagdishpur on Saturday. He said that the BJP government is ruled by thugs. Puppies are being born at a hospital in Uttar Pradesh.

Controversy erupted after his statement and when he reached Rae Bareli, activists of BJP and other organizations opposed him and chanted slogans of Murdabad. At the same time, black ink has been thrown on Somnath Bharti.

Somnath Bharti has also been arrested for his controversial statement to hospitals in Uttar Pradesh. Amethi police have arrested him along with his supporters. A case under Sections 505 and 153A has been registered against him at Jagdishpur police station. So the activist who threw ink on them has also been arrested.
