23 crore donation in 12 hours for Ram temple, five lakh given by the President

The flow of donations for the magnificent Ram temple to be built in Ayodhya has started.

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad has started a campaign to raise funds in the country from the 15th and it started with a check of Rs 5 lakh from the hands of the President. After that, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan gave a donation of Rs 1 lakh.

In just 12 hours, a total of Rs 23 crore has been collected for the temple. According to temple trust sources, Rs 100 crore has been donated to the temple so far and a donation of Rs 2,000 crore is likely to be received in 45 days.

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad has announced a nationwide campaign to get help for the temple from January 15. The first phase will run till January 31. Only those who have an identity in the society and are associated with the Vishwa Hindu Parishad will be contacted.

In the second phase, a door-to-door campaign will be launched for the Ram temple from February 1 to 27. Meanwhile, the VHP has started the first phase with President Ramnath Kovind and the President has personally contributed Rs 5 lakh for the temple.
