Reliance's Mukesh Ambani's title as Asia's richest man was snatched on the last day of the year. Zhong Shanshan, known as China's Bottle Water King, was stripped of the title.

Zhong Shanshan now became the richest man in Asia. Zong, who has tried his hand at journalism, mushroom farming and health care, left behind Mukesh Ambani and Jack Ma. Zong's net worth rose to 77 77.8 billion this year from 70 70.9 billion. According to the Bloomberg Millionaires Index, the increase in Zhong's wealth in the year 2020 made him the 11th richest person on earth.

The water bottle company was listed at a premium of 155 per cent per share. Zong's pharma company was announced to be developing a vaccine for corona, which is believed to have pushed up its share price. Jack Mani, owner of technology company Alibaba in China, saw his fortune plummet to .2 51.2 billion. Jack Manny had a net worth of .7 61.7 billion in October.

Zhong, from Hongzhou, Zhejiang Province, China, began his career as a laborer in a company. He then became a press reporter. He then ventured into the drinking water business. By far the names of the richest people in the world were mostly those involved in technology. This is the first time the owner of a water bottle company has been ranked in the list of the richest people.
