Will there be a solution? The government wrote one more letter to the farmers to start a conversation

New delhi date. 24 December 2020, Thursday

The government has once again written a letter to the agitating farmers asking them to fix a date and time for communication with them. "The Government of India would like to reiterate its commitment that it is ready to reach a rational settlement to all the issues raised by the agitating farmers' organizations," the letter said.

The letter said that the government was ready to complete the agitation and discuss the issue with a clear and open mind and was ready to continue. Please state the date and time as per your convenience.

The letter said that at the same time, give details of other issues that you want to discuss. This conversation will be held with the Ministerial Level Committee at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi on the new date and time suggested by you.

It is worth mentioning that the peasant movement has been going on for about a month now. There is no compromise between the government and the farmers yet. However, both sides are said to be ready for talks to resolve the issue. But it is not clear what the next round of talks will be about. The farmers 'association says that if the governments come up with a concrete proposal, talks will take place and the government says that whatever proposal the farmers' organization comes up with for research in the law will be considered. But the protesting farmers are adamant on the demand to repeal all the three agricultural laws when the government is not ready to accept their demand.

So far there have been 5 meetings between the farmers and the government. The 6th meeting of the farmers proposed with the Center on December 9 was canceled.
