Uttar Pradesh: Children crushed by truck going to coaching class early in the morning, 2 killed, 4 in critical condition

Dozens of children on their way to a coaching class in Uttar Pradesh's Mahoba area were crushed by a speeding truck on Thursday morning. Two children died on the spot and all the others injured were admitted to the hospital where the condition of four children is said to be critical.

The children's families were devastated after the accident and a commotion ensued. More police reinforcements were called in to quell the anger of the people.

According to the police, the inter students of Sungira village high school within the limits of Kalpahad police station were on their way to a coaching class when a truck coming at breakneck speed overtook them. Two students died on the spot. Everyone else was taken to a nearby hospital. The health of four students is said to be critical.
