The Air Force is gearing up to deliver the vaccine to every corner of the country, with 100 aircraft ready

The Indian Air Force is gearing up to deliver the vaccine to all corners of the country in the coming days as the campaign to vaccinate against corona begins in India.

According to the details received, the Air Force has prepared to distribute 100 aircraft vaccines including its own transport planes and helicopters. Different types of aircraft have been selected which can help in this work.

Notably, the Air Force's C-17 Globemaster, C-130J Super Hercules and IL76 will be responsible for vaccinating 28,000 cold storages from pharma companies. Apart from this, the help of Advanced Light Helicopter, Cheetah and Chinook Helicopter will also be taken.

The government's plan is to initially vaccinate 300 million people, including Corona warriors and the sick and elderly.

Earlier in 2018, the Air Force also played a major role in delivering the rubella and measles vaccine.
