Simultaneously, action was taken against 644 policemen

-Nitish Kumar slapped in Bihar

-85 was fired directly

Patna 3rd December 2020 Thursday

As soon as he came to power in Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar took disciplinary action against at least 644 policemen on the grounds of corruption, violation of anti-alcohol law, failure to take action against sand mafia and sacked 85 of them.

It may be recalled here that during the recent Bihar Assembly elections, RJD's Tejaswi Yadav in a number of rallies termed Nitish Kumar's government as the most corrupt government in the history of Bihar and called on the voters to support it.

Evidence that voters were influenced by brilliant arguments was evident in the election results. The highest number of seats was won by Tejaswi's RJD. The BJP came in second and Nitish Kumar's JD (U) came in third. However, with the cooperation of the BJP, Nitish Kumar became the Chief Minister for the seventh time in a row. But he was deeply saddened by the way he felt.
