Relief for India | The possibility of a second wave of corona is negligible, experts say

There is good news for India facing the Corona epidemic. According to health experts, the possibility of a second wave of epidemics in India is now slim. Even if the second wave comes, it will be weaker than the first wave. Meanwhile, the total number of corona cases in India on Saturday crossed one crore. India is the second country in the world after the US to have more than one crore cases of corona. However, Corona's condition in the country is under control.

In the last three hours, 2.3 new cases of corona were reported in India and four more died. With this, the total number of corona cases in the country was 1,00,50,8 and the death toll has gone up to 1,8,8. So far, 4,3,616 patients in Corona have recovered, according to PTI's state-wise tele.

The country's famous virologist Dr. "The graph of Corona's daily new cases in India is going down," said Shahid Jamil. It was at its peak in mid-September. In mid-September, more than 3,000 new cases were being filed daily, compared to the current number of more than 3,000 new cases being filed daily. I feel like the bad times for the country are over. But some cases could rise in the future, as seen in November after Corona’s new daily case dropped.

Dr. "I don't think there will be another wave of corona in the country, as the festive season and elections in one state are over and there has been no significant increase in cases of infections," Jamil said. If we look at the second national cervical survey, the probable cases would have been 15 times more and 150 million people in India would have been infected with corona.

Renowned clinical scientist Dr. Gagandeep Kang says that now Corona's case will not grow as fast as before and the wave will not be the same as before. I don’t think Corona’s transition has increased so much that we’ve reached a state of herd immunity. However, we no longer need to worry. The transition in the country will not increase as fast as before and will not reach such heights.

Cardiologist Dr. KK Agarwal said that 40-50 per cent of the population in India is still not infected with coronavirus. India, Argentina and Poland are the second most affected by the Corona epidemic. If India starts the vaccination program by the end of this month and vaccinates an estimated 500 million people, we will be able to control the epidemic by the end of March next year.

In India, on the other hand, more than 1.1 million samples were tested for Corona in the last three hours. In addition, corona tests have been performed on more than 150 million people in the country, the health ministry said. According to the ministry, 11,81,8 samples were tested in the last three hours. Along with this, samples of a total of 15,00,50,612 people have been taken. The overall positivity rate in the country is 7.5 per cent and the daily testing capacity in India has increased to 1.4 million. More than one million cases of corona have been reported in the country in a month.
