Rajasthan will have night curfew on the night of 31st, curfew till the morning of January 1

The Rajasthan government had imposed a curfew from 8 pm on December 31 to 6 am on January 1 to prevent the Christian New Year from gathering on the night of December 31 and the spread of corona.

Earlier, states like Maharashtra and Karnataka had imposed night curfew. The Rajasthan government had announced a night curfew in cities with a population of over one lakh. This order was applicable to all Municipal Corporations and Nagar Parishad areas.

According to the state government, all markets will be closed at 7 pm on the 31st. There will also be a complete ban on selling fireworks or setting off fireworks anywhere in the state. No ceremony of any kind can be held on New Year's Eve. No more than four people can gather at any place.
