One died when part of a flyover collapsed

One person was killed and dozens more were injured when parts of a flyover being built in front of a shopping mall in Kota, Rajasthan, collapsed on Wednesday night.

The injured were admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment. The condition of five of them is said to be serious. Work on the bridge was halted immediately enough.

The flyover was being built near a shopping mall on Jhalawar Road in Kota. It was being investigated whether there was any negligence in the work. The laborers were arranging a steel structure to lay the slab on the flyover. The steel structure suddenly collapsed on Wednesday night
