On the issue of farmers, the RLP parted ways with the NDA, Hanuman Beniwal's announcement

New Delhi, Saturday 26 December 2020

The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has suffered a major setback on the issue of farmers, with the National Democratic Party (RLP) splitting with the NDA, party convener and Nagaur MP Hanuman Beniwal has announced. In support, the Delhi march was announced on December 26 with 2 lakh farmers.

It may be mentioned here that on the issue of farmers, the Akali Dal, an ally of the NDA, has also sided with it. The BJP is the largest party among all the allies of the NDA, trying to convince the farmers of the benefits of this agricultural law. Farmers have been agitating for the last several days.

Discussing with the media about secession from the NDA, Hanuman Beniwal said that leaving the NDA in support of the peasant movement, new agricultural laws are anti-farmer, leaving the NDA does not mean that our party has allied with the Congress.
