Earlier, the highest number of 2,28,419 cases of corona was reported in a single day in the United States.

The United States has reported more than 1,91,300 cases of corona in the past seven days, an increase of 16 percent over the previous week. More than 2,301 people died in the U.S. on Saturday from the corona. This is the fifth day in a row that more than 2,000 people have been killed. A record 2,867 people were killed in a single day in the United States on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Britain's 50th National Health Service has begun preparations for the largest vaccination program in history. The first dose of the Pfizer-Bioentech vaccine, which has been approved for emergency use by the British government, arrived safely in Britain this weekend from neighboring Belgium.

The first phase of vaccinations in Britain, starting on Tuesday, will vaccinate frontline healthcare staff, people over the age of 80 and care home workers. The 94-year-old Queen Elizabeth will also be vaccinated against corona in the first phase of vaccination.
