London / New Delhi 7 December 2020 Monday

In support of the ongoing peasant movement in the Indian capital New Delhi, some people chanted slogans in front of the Indian Embassy in London holding Khalistani flags.

However Scotland Yard police arrested several such protesters. Scotland Yard informed the Indian embassy that such demonstrations were about to take place and said that we had received such information. The protesters came from different parts of England, a police spokesman said.

Police warned the public protesters on the microphone koronana infection due to the ban on public gatherings in this way to get dispersed. However, some people were standing there and the police arrested them.

Paul Brogden, commander of the London Metropolitan Police, said if more than 30 people gathered, it would be a crime to break the ban and could lead to jail time and a fine. The protesters were mostly Sikhs with placards saying "Give justice to the farmers". Some even had a Khalistani flag. Like Canada, some Khalistani supporters also live in England.

A video clip of the demonstration with the Khalistani flag went viral on social media.
