Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, winners of the recent US presidential election, were named Person of the Year by Time magazine.

After a resounding victory in the election, Joe Biden will become the President of the United States and Kamala Harris will become the Vice President. Time Magazine on Thursday named the duo Person of the Year for 2020.

Joe Biden defeated Donald Trump in the presidential race. Kamala Harris is an American woman of Indian descent. Kamala became the first Bingori and Asian woman to become vice president in American history.

Biden, 78, and Kamala, 56, were featured on the cover of Time magazine. As the headline read, ‘America’s story is changing’. Joe Biden defeated Trump by 306 electoral votes. Every year since 1927, the magazine has been declaring the person who has contributed to any field of human life as the Person of the Year.
