Heavy fog across northern India: Meteorological department forecasts rains in Delhi, cold snap

Heavy snowfall in the hilly areas spread thick fog across northern India and the west and non-seasonal rains lashed the capital New Delhi.

According to the meteorological department, the entire season cycle in the country was reversed. Cold-heat and rain this year created unpredictable conditions in different parts of the country.

In some places in North India, visibility on the roads was very low, resulting in increased chances of accidents. The capital, New Delhi, also received rain and fog on Saturday. The atmosphere was humid and cold. The meteorological department had forecast cold and rain in some areas.

From Himachal Pradesh to Jammu and Kashmir, the temperature dropped to zero degrees and snowfall continued.
