Farmers shut down India: Train stopped in Maharashtra, boom in Odisha-Andhra Pradesh

Farmers in the country have been protesting against the Agriculture Bill for the last 12 days. Pump Association, Rickshaw Driver Associations are getting support.

Tuesday will mark the 13th day of the ongoing farmers' agitation in Delhi, when the closure of India could have an impact on public life. As it has also supported the association which has 95 lakh trucks in North India, the supply may be disrupted.

Bihar

In view of the India ban, the Bihar government has ordered all SPs to take stern action against the protesters if they try to violate the law and order.

Odisha

Left parties, trade unions and farmers' organizations joined hands to join the Bharat Bandh. They stopped several trains at Bhubaneswar railway station, disrupting train services.

Maharashtra

Swamy's farmers' organization protested during the stop rail closure in India. Simultaneously, a train was stopped at Malkapur in Buldhana today. He was later removed from the railway trace by the police and detained.

The train stopped at Prayagraj

Samajwadi Party activists stopped a train in Prayagraj, UP. SP workers protesting during Bharat Bandh stopped the Bundelkhand Express train and chanted slogans.

Impact of India Dam in Lucknow

Section 144 has been implemented in the rural areas of Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, in view of the farmers' blockade of India. Apart from Lucknow, processions, demonstrations, rallies and sieges by five or more persons will also be banned in rural areas.
