Crops in LOC. The army started firing indiscriminately. Defense officials said indiscriminate mortars were fired in two sectors and bullets were constantly pounding.
Pakistan's Napak army opened fire targeting border areas. The firing, which targeted border villages, created an atmosphere of fear among the people. According to the Defense Department, India also retaliated.
The Pakistani military has been shelling indiscriminately in various sectors of the LOC for a long time. The shelling has increased in Rajouri, Balakot, Kirni and Kasba sectors in the last few days.
On the other hand, a terrorist was injured in the Anantnag encounter. That terrorist was killed. The search operation was conducted to nab the terrorist who attacked the CRPF convoy in Anantnag. The militant was injured and was picked up by the security forces. The wounded terrorist died, police said.
Ansar Gajwat Al Hindi, a militant affiliated with the terrorist organization, was captured from Pulwama. A quantity of weapons and explosives were also seized along with the terrorist.
