Democrat Joe Biden, the US president-elect, has reportedly chosen retired US Army chief General Lloyd Austin as his secretary of defense. As Lloyd Austin, the United States will have the first Bingora defense minister in its history.

Not surprisingly, Biden expects the Bingori population to be happy with the choice, given the recent clashes between the police and the Bingori population in the United States. General Austin is the first military man to show courage on the battlefield and become Secretary of Defense after retiring.

General Lloyd was the first Bingori man to lead an entire division on the battlefield. Lloyd's name was confirmed this (Tuesday) morning, according to a report by US news website Politico. General Lloyd retired from the U.S. Army's Central Command in 2016.

Earlier, an aide to former US President Barack Obama was named but later dropped and General Lloyd was named.
