Newly-elected US President Joe Biden's digital team included Ayesha Shah, who was born in Kashmir and grew up in the US.

The White House announced on Monday that Ayesha has been taken to a senior post in the digital department.

Ayesha, who grew up in Louisiana, had worked as a digital partnership manager on Joe Biden-Harris' team during the presidential election. So both leaders were familiar with the talents of Biden and Harris. Ayesha will work in the White House Digital Strategy Team. The director of this team is Rob Flahtry.

Ayesha is currently working as a Digital Specialist at the Smithsonian Institution. Prior to that, Ayesha worked as a Deputy Manager in the Corporate Funds Department at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Prior to that, she worked as a communication expert for a company called Boy. Thus he has vast experience in his field. Her appointment will be permanent since Ayesha joins the White House on duty.
