Anna Hazare went on a fast in support of the farmers, many times getting the opportunity to agitate

- Today is just a day of fasting

New Delhi on 8 December 2020 Tuesday

Social activist Anna Hazare today went on a one-day fast in support of farmers protesting in the capital New Delhi against the new agriculture law framed by the central government and declaring India closed today.

Hazare told the media that the agitation should continue so that there is a kind of pressure on the government and the work of the farmers and the people. In a pre-recorded message, Hazare addressed the farmers and said, "I urge the people of the country to spread the agitation in Delhi across the country." Farmers should take to the streets to increase pressure on the government. People should support farmers.

Hazare was fasting in Ralegan Siddhi village in his Ahmednagar district. He said this was the right time to agitate.
