New delhi date. 8 December 2020, Tuesday

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has called on farmers to meet him at 7 pm amid the announcement of India Bandh by farmers in protest of the Union government's new agriculture law. Amit Shah has suddenly called this meeting. It is also at a time when the government is already scheduled to meet farmers' organizations on Wednesday, December 9.

Farmer leaders will meet Amit Shah at 7 p.m. Presumably, this will be an informal visit. In the morning, a proposal was sent to the farmers by Amit Shah. A total of 13 members will meet Amit Shah.

Amit Shah has called the farmers sitting on the Indus, Tikri and Ghazipur borders. Rakesh Tikait has also been called to the meeting. "I got a call," said Rakesh Tikait. Home Minister Amit Shah has called for a meeting. We and our leaders will go, he has called to meet at 7 p.m.

Several rounds of talks have failed even before this. The last meeting we met on Saturday lasted seven hours, yet no road was paved. The government has not called a meeting again in December. However, the farmers have made it clear that they will not consume anything other than withdrawing the law brought in September. They fear that their income will go down after the new law comes into force. They will only be in need of corporate companies.
