The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) met in Naમેme, the capital of the African country of Niger, from 27 to 29 November. Foreign ministers from all 57 countries of the organization were present.

The meeting criticized India on issues including Article 370, which India deleted in Kashmir last year. Besides, a bill criticizing India was also passed by Pakistan.

"The OIC condemns India's illegal action in Kashmir and we are with the Kashmiris in the Kashmir conflict," the bill said. India vehemently opposed the bill.

The External Affairs Ministry immediately informed the CIC that Kashmir was our internal affair. Anything you interfere with will be considered an unnecessary and factually wrong move.

In previous OIC meetings, India has been similarly criticized over the situation in Kashmir. Even then, India protested. This time, India said the OIC had no right to discuss or intervene in the Kashmir issue. India has no qualms about other countries.

The organization is headquartered in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The organization was established in 1969 to represent Muslim countries at the international level. But the controversy is not over in the organization itself. Because no country wants to let another grow. Due to the controversy in the Islamic countries, the meeting of the organization is a food-and-drink affair.
