Trump's son shows Jammu and Kashmir on Pakistan map, calls India pro-Biden

Washington, Nov. 4, 2020, Wednesday

Donald Trump's son Trump Jr. has shown Jammu and Kashmir as part of Pakistan by tweeting a controversial map in the run-up to the US presidential election.

Trump's son's move has sparked controversy in India when Trump and Modi consider each other good friends. Trump Jr. showed some countries in the red of his party and countries supporting Biden in the blue of the Democratic Party to show which countries in the world are supporting him. The map shows India in brown. Thus, according to Trump's son, India is one of Biden's supporters. On the other hand, Iran and Russia are his supporters. The countries shown in Biden's support include China and Mexico in addition to India.

The map tweeted by Trump Jr. also shows the northeastern part of India, with Congress' Shashi Tharoor pointing out that India is paying the price for PM Modi's love for Trump. Trump's son has excluded Kashmir and the North East from India.

Earlier, Trump had called India a dirty country in his election campaign.
