Incumbent President Donald Trump is not ready to give up despite losing the US presidential election. According to a report, he was preparing for a coup anyway. The changes Trump made to the Pentagon indicated that Trump was preparing to stay in power at any cost.
Trump's niece also hinted that this was happening on Twitter. Trump’s loyal officers were being deployed to various positions and officers suspected of loyalty were being moved. It started on Monday. Defense Secretary Mark Asper was the first to move. Asper was replaced by Christopher Miller, director of the National Terrorism Prevention Force.
Trump continued to allege that the vote count was rigged, while Trump continued to question Biden's victory. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has consistently supported Trump's view. Pompeo said the transfer of power would take place peacefully and Trump would launch his second term.
Trump's niece Mary L. Trump wrote on Twitter to be constantly vigilant. Trump could overthrow. He will not relinquish power easily. If Biden had won legally but Donald Trump is not ready to accept that fact. It can coup. The steps being taken by them also indicate this fact.
