Thousands of farmers gathered at the Delhi border, bringing with them six months' rations

- is preparing for a long-term battle

New Delhi Dated 28th November 2020 Saturday

Thousands of farmers protesting against the new agriculture law framed by the central government had gathered at the border of the capital New Delhi.

The most shocking thing was that these people came with a six-month ration to prolong the fight. Wherever we have to stop, we will cook and eat in the morning and evening and spend the night there.

Farmers spent Friday night on the Indus border. Thus, they were allowed to protest in Delhi's Burari Maidan. But those people were not ready to cross the Indus border. All the farmers' unions, including the Bhari Kisan Sangh, expressed support for the movement. The agitating farmers were alleging that these laws would prove disastrous for the farmers.

However, experts believe that most of the people came from Punjab and Haryana. Reacting to the farmers 'agitation, Congress' Priyanka Gandhi said the Centre's laws were like carpets for billionaire industrialists and trenches for farmers. Priyanka also alleged that the government had dug roads to prevent farmers from coming to Delhi.
