The first case has been registered in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, following the implementation of anti-conversion laws. The law has come into force after it was approved by the governor a day ago. A case has also been registered by the police on the first day. The case has been filed in Bareilly in which various clauses regarding conversion have been imposed.

The case was filed by Tikaram, a resident of Sharif Nagar in Bareilly, Additional Chief Secretary Avanish Avsruthi said. In it, he alleged that there was an attempt by Uwaish Ahmed, a man from the village, to forcibly convert my daughter.

SSP Rohit Singh, on the other hand, said that four police teams have been constituted to probe the entire case. At the same time, the process of arresting the accused has been started. The plaintiff claimed that both his daughter and the accused youth were studying together in 12th standard.

Only three years ago my daughter was pressured, and asked to change religion, later forced to convert and get married, my daughter threatened to kill her if she objected. He was later threatened if the girl married another man.
