India's first indigenous air-to-air missile 'Astra' may soon be tested by indigenous fighter plane Tejas. In terms of weapons, the missile will be the mainstay of the country's security forces.

Will be tested by Tejas

At a speed of 4.5 Mach, even faster than the speed of sound, this missile is a four-fold flying range air-to-air missile. Preparations are being made for its testing. An Air Force source said on Thursday that the missile would be tested on the indigenous fighter plane Tejas in the next few months.

The entire indigenous missile is a projectile

The most special feature of this missile is that it has accurate attack capability in any season. The missile can destroy the enemy at a strike range of about 100 km at any time of the day or night, although preparations are underway to increase its range. The missile will replace the highly expensive Russian, French and Israeli BVRAAM once it joins the Air Force. Which is currently being deployed for Indian Air Force fighter planes.
