Kartarpur dated 5th November 2020 Thursday

The administration of Kartarpur Gurdwara, a holy pilgrimage site for Sikhs in Pakistan, was snatched from Pakistan by the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee and handed over to a new committee project management unit. Pakistan seemed to be making some new move.

The new executive committee does not have a single Sikh member. Its ninety-nine members are members of the Evacuee Trust Property Board. The entire administration of the board is said to be run by Pakistan's notorious intelligence agency ISI.

Muhammad Tariq Khan was appointed as the CEO of the project management unit. The government of Pakistan told Kartarpur Gurdwara that it wanted to do business through this gurdwara. That is, Imran Khan's government wants to fill its coffers with this gurdwara. Kartarpur has a history of being the abode of Guru Nanakdev. Guru Nanakdev passed away at this place. Earlier, Sikhs used to visit this holy pilgrimage site on Indian soil with the help of binoculars. But now that India and Pakistan had formed the Kartarpur Corridor together, Sikhs living in India could go to Pakistan and head to this Gurudwara.
