ISRO will launch the Earth Observation Satellite (EOS-01) from the Satish Dhawan Space Station at Sriharikota this afternoon. The launch will be by Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) C49 rocket. PSLV was refueled for launch.

The PSLV will also launch nine foreign satellites. The new satellite to be launched by ISRO today through PSLV will enable better observation of the Earth. This satellite is such that it can see the earth even from among the clouds. Can also take visible photographs. It has the ability to take clear photographs not only during the day but also on the darkest night of the month.

This rocket variant was first used on January 24, 2019 for Orbit Microset and Satellite. The PSLV is a four-stage engine rocket powered by six booster motors alternately powered by solid and liquid fuels. Straps are done in the first stage to catch good speed in the beginning. The launch of the satellite will be seen on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and ISRO's website.
