New Delhi Dated 26th November 2020 Thursday

According to a survey, Indians are the most corrupt people in the whole of Asia.

A survey conducted by the world-renowned NGO Transparency International revealed this shocking fact. India got 39 per cent votes.

The gist of the survey was that more than 46 per cent of people believed in getting their work done. Fifty percent believed that a Sami person needed to benefit in order to get the job done. Thus the rate of bribery was increasing day by day. About 32 per cent of the people said that if we did not use Vagdar, it would not work.

Cambodia came in second with 37 per cent considering bribery necessary. Third was Indonesia with a rate of 30 percent. The Maldives and Japan were the only countries where only two percent believed in bribery.

It may be recalled that in January this year, India was ranked 80th out of 180 countries in the Corruption Perceptions Index at the World Economic Forum. It was also believed that corruption was on the rise in India.
