If Article 370 is to be re-enacted in Kashmir with the help of Biden: Controversial statement by Congress leader

Srinagar, Ta. 9 November 2020, Monday

Jammu and Kashmir Congress leader Jahanzeb Sirwal has made a controversial statement. He said that with the help of new US President Joe Biden, Article 370 would be re-enacted in Jammu and Kashmir. He made the statement while congratulating Joe Biden and Kamala Harris on their victory in the United States.

"I wish Joe Biden and Kamala Harris the best of luck," said Jahanzeb Sirwal. This is not an individual victory but an ideological victory. This is the victory of democracy. As far as India and Jammu and Kashmir are concerned, this victory will have a positive impact. It is clear that his victory has greatly reduced Islamophobia. If Biden's old statements suggest that he will put pressure on the Indian government and the government will re-enact Sections 370 and 35A The government undemocratically removed Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir.

This is not the first time that the leaders of Jammu and Kashmir have demanded the re-enactment of Article 370. Several leaders, including Omar Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti and Farooq Abdullah, have called for the re-enactment of Article 370. Now all the political parties in Kashmir have united and gone to the Supreme Court again.
