Four militants shot dead in Jammu and Kashmir's Nagarota

Border security forces were on high alert in Nagarota area of ​​Jammu and Kashmir following reports of terrorists being trafficked. Terrorists hiding in a truck were caught while searching oncoming vehicles. However the terrorists started firing at the security to escape. Security forces returned fire, killing four Pakistani militants and seizing a large quantity of explosives from the truck.

Security forces immediately launched a search in the forest following reports of some other militants hiding in a nearby forest and meanwhile closed the Jammu and Kashmir Highway to traffic as a precaution.

The incident happened this morning at five o'clock. It was noticed by the security that some of the terrorists took advantage of the darkness and fled to the forest.

Security forces were stationed at the intersection of the highway after reports of terrorists approaching in trucks. Every vehicle was searched. With that in mind, the terrorists started firing indiscriminately and even tried to escape from the truck. Security forces opened fire on the militants, killing four of them and searching for another.
