New delhi date. 17 November 2020, Tuesday

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a virtual part in the BRICS summit on Tuesday. Apart from this he addressed the convention through virtual medium. During which he targeted Pakistan without naming it as the biggest problem in the world. Apart from this, Narendra Modi has once again spoken of a change in the UN Security Council. In his address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that both the credibility and effectiveness of global governance were being questioned. The main reason is that it has not changed properly over time. The system is still based on the mindset and reality of a 75 year old world.

He further said that India believes that a change in the UN Security Council is also inevitable. We look forward to working with BRICS partners on this topic. Terrorism is the biggest problem in the world today. We must ensure that countries that support and aid terrorists are to blame. This problem has to be tackled in an organized manner.

"We are pleased that the BRICS counter-terrorism strategy has been finalized under the chairmanship of Russia," he added. This is a great achievement. India will take this work further during its presidency. Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the virtual stage for the second time in a week with Chinese President Xi Jinping, but India did not even mention China.
