‘Corona test facility had reached 97 per cent areas of the country’: Dr. Harshvardhan

- The vaccine will also be available by next August

New delhi date. Monday 30 November 2020

The country's health minister, Dr Harshvardhan, claimed that corona testing facilities had reached 97 per cent of the country's areas. Due to the timely action of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we were able to control the spread of Corona better than other countries.

"The steps we have taken have been noted by countries around the world and our efforts have been applauded," he said in response to a question at a seminar organized by an English newspaper.

We are said to have a lower mortality rate compared to other countries. Answering the question as to why this is being said, Dr. Harshvardhan seemed a little annoyed. He said your question is not correct. We actually have a low mortality rate there. We share our daily statistics with the whole world.

It is not fair to assume that the government is hiding the figures. I am not saying that there is no discrepancy in the statistics but as far as I know, India has been presenting the statistics about Corona with complete honesty. Corona tests, which started from one laboratory, reached two thousand one hundred and thirty laboratories today and we are testing an average of one million people today.
