Cold in Delhi breaks ten-year record, with temperatures dropping to 7.5 degrees Celsius

The cold in the capital New Delhi broke the record of the last ten years this morning. The temperature dropped to seven and a half degrees Celsius. The people of Delhi started waking up in the morning.

The meteorological department had predicted that it would get colder due to heavy snowfall in the hilly areas of northern India, but this morning it started getting colder than Delhigara had imagined. In the last ten years, the temperature in Delhi has never dropped to 7.5 degrees Celsius.

The temperature in Delhi was nine and a half degrees Celsius on Thursday. The cold snap intensified as another two degrees fell this morning. A meteorological department spokesperson said that the average temperature in Delhi is between 12 and a half degrees Celsius between November 19 and 21 and between 11 and a half degrees between November 22 and 26. Instead, this time on November 20, the temperature dropped to 7.5 degrees. It also means that the cold will increase in the coming days.
