Clashes between farmers and police for the second day in a row, teargas cells released, also affected in UP

New delhi date. 27 November 2020, Friday

For the second day in a row, clashes between farmers and police marched to Delhi in protest of the new law for farmers.

Along with farmers from Punjab and Haryana, farmers have now taken to the streets in UP as well. There have been reports of farmers jamming highways in western UP. On the other hand, the situation has deteriorated once again on the Indus border. Farmers from Punjab are saying that we are going to Delhi with a month's ration and we are ready to hold a dharna for a month.

Earlier, the Delhi Police had met the farmers on the Indus border near Delhi. The police have asked the farmers to abide by the rules of Corona. We will stop at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh has appealed to the Center to talk to the farmers, not to silence the voices of the farmers. Why is the government waiting till December 3 for talks?
