Patna, Ta. 11 November 2020, Wednesday

The results of the Bihar Assembly elections have come and the NDA has retained power.

However, Nitish Kumar's JDU party has lost in this election and the reason behind it is Chirag Paswan. Even though Chirag Paswan's Lok Janshakti Party has won only one seat from 134 seats, it has changed the equation of defeat to 54 seats. The grand coalition has lost 24 seats.

Chirag Paswan was fielded by most of the candidates to target Nitish Kumar's party. However, in some seats his candidates also stood against the BJP candidate. There were 22 candidates who revolted from the JDU and were given tickets to Chirag Paswan who managed to harm the JDU. .

The BJP has also admitted that the NDA could have easily won 150 seats if it had contested the elections together with Chirag Paswas's party.
