In Jammu and Kashmir, security forces foiled a major terror attack in India by killing four militants, prompting PM Modi to lash out at Pakistan.
However, as always, China has come to Pakistan's defense. After India summoned Pakistan's ambassador, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lijian Zhao said China appreciates Pakistan's role in the international arena and supports Pakistan's action against terrorists. Efforts to close the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor will not succeed.
China considers Pakistan as its close friend and whenever Pakistan is notorious for terrorism, China has come forward openly in its defense. Ignoring all these things, China is not only defending Pakistan but also praising it, so that Pakistan is not left alone at the international level.
Earlier, PM Modi had said that the killing of four of Mohammad's terrorists by Jaish-e-Pakistan and the acquisition of weapons from them showed that his plan to wreak havoc in India had backfired.
