The IPL-2020 was held in the UAE during the Corona period. Each match was played in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah between September 19 and November 10. According to the information received, BCCI has benefited tremendously from the organization of this tournament.

The BCCI has earned about Rs 4,000 crore from the tournament in the UAE. At the same time, the number of TV viewers has also increased by 25%. About 20,000 RT-PCR cores were tested on 1800 people in this IPL. Due to this, all the matches could be organized without any hassle.

Given Corona's condition, the government allowed training in Dubai after a 7-day quarantine, but a 14-day quarantine in Abu Dhabi was mandatory. The venue was made the home ground of Mumbai Indians and Calcutta Knight Riders. The BCCI had reduced the quarantine period by talking to Tantra in Abu Dhabi.
