Arnab Goswami's night at Alibag's 'school' after arrest

Arnab Goswami, managing editor of Republic TV, was arrested by Mumbai police yesterday on charges of forcing an interior designer to commit suicide.

Following his arrest, the court remanded him in judicial custody.

The court rejected the police's request for remand and remanded Goswami and two others in judicial custody till November 18. A police official said Goswami was taken to a government hospital on Wednesday night. After a medical check-up, he was taken to a school. His night was spent in this school.

Arnab Goswami has been charged with inciting architect as well as designer Anvay Naik and his mother to commit suicide. I am committing suicide.

The case was earlier closed by the police and reopened two years later. Goswami's bail application is set to be heard today.
