Agriculture law gives new options to farmers, some people are spreading illusion: PM Modi

Varanasi, 30 November 2020 Monday

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today reminded the farmers in his parliamentary constituency of Varanasi during the farmers' agitation. In his speech, he called the farmers of Kashi as food givers and greeted them. Accusing the Opposition of inciting the farmers, PM Modi said that the farmers have been deceived for decades and now those who do so are spreading confusion among the farmers of the country. In his speech, PM Modi tried to answer every question of the farmers.

Prime Minister Modi said that illusion is being spread among farmers on agricultural laws. He said that those who have cheated the farmers are now spreading confusion among the farmers. The new laws give farmers a choice.

PM Modi said that our government is spending crores of rupees to modernize the mandis. Farmers' crops are being sold on MSP. "You need to remember that these are the same people who were questioning the PM Kisan Sanman Nidhi," he said. These people were spreading rumors. One state did not allow the Kisan Sanman Yojana to be implemented in its own state. Some did so to protect their own politics.

There is no restriction in this law if one deems the transaction from the old system appropriate. The new agricultural reform has given new options and legal protection to farmers.

He said that a different trend has been seen in the country for some time now. Earlier, there was protest if the government did not like any decision. But now the basis of the protest is not the decision but the illusion is spread. These are the same people who cheated with farmers for decades. Earlier it was MSP but it was not bought on. MSP has been cheated for years.

Farmers were betrayed by previous governments in name. Deception in the name of schemes, deception in the name of farmers, deception in the name of fertilizer. The manure was reaching more black markets than the farm. Promise to vote first and then cheat. This has been going on for a long time. When history has been one of deception, two things are very natural. The first is that farmers have a long history of deception for decades if they are to be apprehensive of the government. For those who have broken promises, cheated, spreading this lie has become a kind of habit and compulsion. Because he did just that. So it looks the same with the same formula.

PM Modi said that the truth of those who spread illusions based on suspicions is constantly coming against the country. When farmers understand his lie on a subject. 24X7 is their only job. The government works and tries to respond to the concerns of the farming families. Our food giver will lead a self-reliant India. It is my firm belief that even the farmers who have some doubts about the agricultural reforms today will increase their income by taking advantage of these reforms in the future.

It may be mentioned here that on the occasion of Diwali, PM Modi is in his parliamentary constituency today. PM Modi saluted the people of Kashi and said that I salute the food givers of Raja Talab, Mirzamurab, Kachhwa, Kapsethi, Rohania and Sevapuri area. Happy Diwali and Guru Parva to you all. To state here that the farmers have started a movement against the government's agricultural laws. Protesting farmers have warned to shut down Delhi's hookah water. In the midst of all this the government has also become active and is in the process of communicating with the farmers.

PM Modi said that efforts are being made to provide modern facilities to the farmers, to empower the small farmers by organizing them and to strengthen the farmers. Whether it is crop insurance or irrigation, seed or market, work has been done at every level. Agricultural reforms made in the interest of farmers give farmers such an option. If farmers find a buyer who picks up the crop directly from the field, should farmers have the freedom to sell their crop or not?
