After 50 days, petrol prices have gone up again, diesel prices have started going up again after 40 days

- Prices last rose in September

New Delhi Dated 20th November 2020 Friday

Gasoline prices rose again this morning after a 50-day hiatus. Similarly, after 40 days, the price of diesel went up again.

Petrol and diesel prices were last hiked in September. After that the price level remained stable. Today, Friday, November 20, the price was recorded again. Over the past fifty days, crude oil prices have fallen by three to four dollars. It also means that petrol and diesel prices should go down but not down.

Crude prices have risen four dollars over the past four days. As a result, oil companies today started raising petrol and diesel prices.

This is due to the fact that the rise in petrol and diesel prices is artificial. Thus it will be interesting for a man to know that oil companies fix the price level on the basis of a fortnightly average. Petrol and diesel prices for the day are fixed at 6 am daily.

Accordingly the difference in price is noted. The last time the Kejriwal government in Delhi reduced VAT was in August-September, when petrol and diesel prices fell in Delhi. Meanwhile prices remained stable for a few days. Although the by-elections in ten states, including the Bihar Assembly general election, can be credited for this, no government will change the price of petrol and diesel on election day.
