We will not use nuclear weapons first, India clarifies 'no first use policy' at UN

Amid ongoing tensions with China, India has reaffirmed its policy on the use of nuclear weapons.

India reiterated its policy of non-use of nuclear weapons for the first time in the Special Weapons of the United Nations General Assembly.

Recently, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that India's policy so far is not to use nuclear weapons first but to depend on the situation in the future.
