The French capital, Paris, has seen its second terrorist attack in three weeks.

A man beheaded his son's history teacher in the Conflance Saint Honorin area in the northeast corner of Paris as the teacher talked to a child about a cartoon of the Prophet Muhammad.

Police arrived at the scene after receiving the news. Seeing the police, the assailants tried to flee and shouted slogans of Allah-hu-Akbar. He turned his shotgun on himself when apprehended by a police officer on the porch of the house where the shootings took place. He was shot dead by police.

French President Emmanuel Macron visited the school where Marnar worked as a teacher and spoke with school staff. He called the killing of the teacher a terrorist attack. The French government is currently working on an anti-Islam resolution. A French government official said people who believe in Islam were behaving like a parallel government here. France has the second largest Muslim population after the local population. Locals fear that Muslims will establish a majority in the near future.
